I’ve been a student at Maplewood for over three years, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing! We started with this school in middle school and feel very blessed to have two children there. The facilities and resources are outstanding, but it’s the teachers that really make it such an outstanding place to be. The teachers are accomplished, knowledgeable and supportive. They really get to know each unique kid and their strengths and challenges. They find a great balance between support and challenge. Highly recommend this school!
We are the parents of a first-year ninth grader enrolled at Maplewood. Our experience has been excellent. Every day the social-emotional and academic challenges which have stood in our son’s way have been directly addressed by the professional and caring teachers. Importantly, the school has done a good job of integrating kids into the larger life of the school and dealing with the issues arising from that context. A broad and general spirit of kindness seems be a cornerstone at the school and our son is very happy there.
